Mr. & Mrs. Alverson - May 14th, 2022

I first met Max and Grace at Provin Trails for their engagement session in mid January, although it was a chilly day it was super sunny so we had some amazing lighting. On May 14th, Max and Gracie's wedding day had perfect weather barely a cloud in the sky. My husband, Max and I made a trip to The Heritage Barn in New Era, upon arriving to the venue, we walked around and got some detail shots of the barn and ceremony area. The ceremony was set up to overlook a bunch of the beautiful countryside.

I made my was to the bridal suite, where Gracie and her bridesmaids were getting ready. The suite is so spacious and has plenty of mirrors, lighting, and makeup areas for everyone, it was so easy to take photos in. Gracie and Max's daughter was the flower girl and she had the most adorable dress and flower headband. After everyone was ready we prepared for Max and Gracie to do a first touch and prayer together before the ceremony. They each had their backs against the wall and held hands while Max said a small prayer for them.

Now it was ceremony time, Max escorted the parents down the aisle, and then the wedding party walked, Max and Grace's daughter came down the aisle pushed in a little red wagon. Everyone stood up as we waited for Gracie to walk down the aisle. The ceremony was not super long, they started with a prayer, listened to their vows, and watched them exchange rings! I waited for the newleyweds to greet their guests as they made their way into the barn for the reception. We went and did some wedding party and family portraits around the property, and then I got to do some couples portraits too.

The reception started with the first dance, and then tabled were released for dinner. After everyone ate, Grace and her father danced, and then Max with his mother. They did the anniversary dance where all the couples come out to dance, which is always one of my favorites to take photos of, and to see which couple has been married the longest. There was even a special dance for Gracie's parents who had an anniversary coming up. I loved taking all the dancing photos, everyone that attended was on the dance floor.

Before the night ended Max and Grace invited all their guests for a "cool down" session outside where they laid in the grass and listened to 'Chasing Cars'. It was so cute to see Max and Grace laying all cuddled up with their daughter. It was a beautiful wedding and I'm so honored to have captured it for Max and Grace, they are such a wonderful couple.
